AN Aintree racegoer from St Helens - who bought her outfit on Vinted - was named Best Dressed at the 2025 Style Awards on Ladies Day.
Katie Morris, 22, from St Helens, spent £50 on a hat from the online marketplace, to wear at the Randox Grand National Festival.
She was inspired to buy because it had been worn by another woman on Ladies Day at Aintree last year.
She said: "I definitely didn't expect to win. My friends pushed me to enter, so I'm very surprised to be here.
"I knew I wanted to do polka dot, inspired by my nan. I wanted something my nan would've worn in her prime, so I went for something 1950s.
"I found the dress online and loved it, and I matched the fascinator.
"The dress is from BABYBOO and was around £130, and the hat was £50 from Vinted. A girl wore it to Ladies Day last year, so I thought I would bring it back again."
Asked if that's why she picked it, she said: "Yes, and because it is gorgeous."
"This is my third year at Aintree. I absolutely love it - it's the people who make it. I'll be back next year with my friends, but first I'm going to take the girls shopping to River Island."
Katie will received a £3,000 River Island voucher, two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival 2026, a Randox Health full body Everyman or Everywoman package, and River Island gifts worth £1,000 for being Best Dressed.
Meanwhile, Lucas Nurney, 23, from Barnsley, also secured Best Dressed victory thanks to his £170 Asos suit, and he is planning a shopping spree with his River Island voucher.
He said: "I feel really good for winning, thank you. I'll be going on a shopping spree soon.

"I wasn't even going to enter, but my friend's mum told me to. I was a bit shocked when she rang me to say I was a finalist."
Asked how he came about his Best Dressed-winning outfit, he said: "I looked online and picked out an outfit that was my favourite colour - red. It was £170 for the full suit.
"Me and my friends love racing, and we thought we'd come to Aintree for a good day out."
Rachel Ellis, 53, from Andover, Hampshire, who bought her Ladies Day outfit for £10 on Vinted, was named Most Sustainably Dressed.
She first purchased the outfit, which is made from recycled fabric, from Nobody's Child, but Rachel had to look for a smaller version after losing weight - and she snapped up her Aintree gown for just £10 online.
Rachel also wore a floral hat she had made for her niece to wear at the Betfred Derby at Epsom Downs.
She said: "It's amazing to win Most Sustainably Dressed - wow. My niece needed a hat to go to the Derby, so I made this hat for her about three or four years ago. She worked at Kew Gardens and she said to me, 'Go wild, find what you want,' and I was able to find these vintage 1940s/1950s flowers.
"She wore it and had an amazing day, and I then asked to borrow it for today. Then I had to find the dress to match. It's made by Nobody's Child from recycled fabric, but then I lost a lot of weight - so I had to buy another.
"I got this one from Vinted for £10. The most expensive thing is my Lulu Guinness handbag, it was about £300, but I wear it a lot. It's used time and time again. It's a classic piece.
"If you can invest in something and use it time and time again then that's the best thing to do."

Rachel also won two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival 2026, hospitality for two at an Aintree Racecourse fixture of choice in 2025, and River Island gifts worth £1,000.
The three racegoers triumphed after impressing The Style Awards judges, boxing world champion and Aintree Ambassador Natasha Jonas, The Guide's Gemma Cutting and Liverpool Echo's Emily Sleight.
