THERE was a closure on the M58 this afternoon, Monday, following a crash.
There were two lanes closed due to the collision eastbound between junctions five and six.

Live traffic tracker INRIX stated: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M58 Eastbound from J5 A577 Prescott Road (Upholland) to M6 J26 (Orrell Interchange)."
As of shortly after 2pm, all lanes had been opened and traffic in the area was easing.
