A MAJOR road has been partially blocked this morning due to an construction.
Traffic feeds report that the Knowsley Expressway has seen delays from junction one, Tarbock Island, to Speke Road.
This is due to an "obstruction on the road". There is congestion due to slow-moving traffic going northbound.

Live traffic tracker INRIX stated as of 9.30am: "A5300 Knowsley Expressway Southbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road from M57 J1 (Tarbock Island, Tarbock) to A562 Speke Road (Hale Bank). Congestion to slow traffic northbound as on-lookers pass."
