THERE are warnings for motorists over delays on the East Lancs Road this morning following reports of a crash.
The incident has happened on a stretch of the dual carriageway in Croxteth heading towards Liverpool.
One lane closed westbound between M57 junction 4 at Knowsley to Back Gillmoss Lane.
The incident is near the Gillmoss Industrial estate.
In a statement on X, police said: "Police are currently dealing with an RTC along the East Lancashire Road near to Willow Way in the direction of Gillmoss Industrial estate.
"Please avoid the area due to the road being blocked."
