POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for help from residents in a bid to find a teenage girl reported missing in Warrington.
Cheshire Police is appealing for anyone who sees Lilly Butler, or Lilly herself, to get in touch, as officers and her family are growing ‘increasingly concerned’ about her.
The 15-year-old was reported missing after last being seen in the Latchford area at around 4.30pm on Thursday.
She has since been sighted in and around Orford Park and McDonalds on Winwick Road at 7.30pm yesterday, Saturday, but she has also been spotted in Latchford.
Lilly is described as being white, of a slim build with ginger hair, and she was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey jeans and trainers.
Inspector Anthony Sullivan said: “It has been three days since Lilly was reported missing.
“Although there have been sightings of her in the Warrington area, we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Enquiries to locate her are ongoing, and I would urge anyone who thinks that they may have seen Lilly since she went missing, or knows where she is, to get in touch.
“The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of her since she was reported missing.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Lilly to ask her to get in touch with either her family or the police.”
