Two fire crews were called to a caravan fire this morning at the back of a home in Haydock.
Fire crews were called to Church Road in Haydock just before 6am this morning, with two fire engines in attendance.
Crews arrived to find a caravan on fire to the rear of a two storey terraced house, with the fire also affecting a room to the rear ground floor of the property.
Residents had left the property and caravan and there were no reports of any injuries.
One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus fought the fire with a hose reel jet and the fire to the caravan and the fire affecting a window of the house were extinguished by 6.16am.
Firefighters continued to damp down the area and used an industrial fan to clear smoke before leaving at 7.25.am.
