Detective Sergeant Andy Roper of Matrix Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This collision occurred at a busy time of day and there would have been a number of potential witnesses and vehicles in the area at that time. I would appeal for anyone who may have seen this collision, or anyone who may have dash camera CCTV footage that shows either of the vehicles involved, or the general road and weather conditions at that time, to give our team a call.”

“People who were driving on Elton Head Road around that time may have captured something inadvertently on their dash camera which may be of great assistance in establishing how and why this collision occurred."
