A PUB has submitted a planning application for two conservatories at its premises to help "encapsulate" noise from customers using outdoor seating.
The Moss Bank Hotel, on Moss Bank Road, has dawn up proposals for the conservatories.
An application by owner Stephen Lawler has been sent in to council planners.
A design and access statement in the plans, drawn up by agents Taurus Design Services, states "the proposal will see two new conservatories, one to the north east boundaries and the other to the south west boundary".
The proposals "will not increase the maximum licensed capacity of the premises".

Plans add: "The construction of the conservatories will help to encapsulate the noise produced by patrons currently using the outdoor seating in these areas, thus reducing the overall noise emitted from the premises towards adjacent residential receptors".
An application form adds that the conservatories' construction "will not jeopardise or change the character of the existing area".
Both conservatories will be "single-storey" with a "low-pitched roof" and will have a floor area of 26.5sq m.
The plans will not affect the venue's opening hours.
The application is on standard consultation to the public until Tuesday, August 27. Council planners will make a decision by October 1.
