A WOMAN who has spent most of her career trying to improve people's health is set to launch a new wellness clinic in Newton-le-Willows.
Originally from South Africa, Loren Hatch has spent the best part of a decade working as a personal trainer and yoga instructor, and has become increasingly passionate about helping people "get on the right track".
Loren, who has also lived in London and Wigan, said she started this career after a personal journey of managing health complications, such as high blood pressure, gallstones, and colonic irrigation.
Finding a method that worked for her, the 53-year-old spent years researching the health industry and how the body works, with the aim of opening her own business and passing on this knowledge to others.
After searching for the perfect place to start this new business, Loren found a spot on Wargrave Road in Newton-le-Willows, and is set to launch 'Within Colonic and Health' on Saturday, July 20.

At the Newton-based health clinic, Loren will provide clients with a variety of services, including colon hydrotherapy, sound therapy, sports massages, reiki, and general health and dietary advice.
With a "great community" of independent businesses in Newton, Loren hopes to guide her clients onto a healthier life with her 1-to-1 personalised treatments.
Loren said: "This has all come from my personal journey where I have learned how to deal with health problems, and I have spent years studying and researching so I know as much as I possibly can.
"I want to help people make better decisions and get back on the right path as I know how easy it can be to get into bad habits.
"It's amazing what a little bit of help, knowledge, and exercise can do to making people feel better about themselves so I'm really looking forward to working with clients on this.
"I'm excited and nervous to finally open up!"
Opening on Saturday, July 20, Within Colonic and Health is located on Wargrave Road. More information can be found here.
