RESURFACING works will be carried out on a number of roads across the borough in the coming weeks.
St Helens Council has listed a number of locations where repairs will take place as part of its approved "highway maintenance programme for 2024/25".
Many Star readers have bemoaned the state of the town's pothole-laden roads this year.
However, the council has highlighted areas where roads have been repaired, stating that 615 repairs were made last month alone.
In a statement the council said that the following road resurfacing works will be carried out in the coming weeks, starting tomorrow.
Wednesday, July 10: Taylor Road/Shaftway Close/Rampit Close/ Evans Close/ Mineway, Haydock
Wednesday, July 17: Union Bank Lane, Bold & Lea Green
Thursday, July 18: Farndon Avenue, Bold & Lea Green
