POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to speak to after a train passenger was assaulted.
At around 7.30pm on Thursday, June 13, the victim was sat alone on a Northern train from Liverpool Lime Street heading to Manchester Oxford Road.
Another person approached them from behind and poured the contents of a can over the victim, before moving toward the doors.
The victim followed the individual and attempted to stop them from leaving the train, however they were then punched and thrown to the floor by them.
