A WOMAN has been charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding two people at the races.
The alleged incidents are reported to have occurred at Haydock Park Racecourse on June 24 last year.
The day saw the packed-out racecourse host Craig David for one of its popular music nights.
Now, almost 12 months to the day, a woman has been charged.
Jeorga Thompson, of May Sinclair Close in Rock Ferry, Wirral, has been charged with two counts of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The particulars of both charges allege that she unlawfully and maliciously wounded two different people at Haydock Park Racecourse on June 24, 2023.
The 30-year-old is due to make a first appearance in relation to the charges before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday.
