ST HELENS Council has confirmed it has received reports over a "pothole" in Newton-le-Willows.
The local authority was alerted to the issue, in the area of Sefton Street, near to the junction with Valentine Road, on Monday, June 17.
Temporary works to patch it will take place, the council said, with a permanent reseal booked for a future date.
It is the second issue with a road in Newton-le-Willows that has been reported in a week.
