PUBS across the borough are readying themselves for a month of football as Euro 2024 kicks off tonight.

The tournament's first game between Germany and Scotland kicks off in Munich tonight (Friday, June 14), with the tournament set to take place across Germany until the final in Berlin on Sunday, July 14.

After the semi-final, final, and quarter-final heartbreak of recent major tournaments, Gareth Southgate's England kick off their tournament against Serbia on Sunday, June 16.

England then play Denmark on Thursday, June 20, and Solvenia on Tuesday, June 25, and despite being beaten by Iceland in their last warm-up game, remain as one of the favourites to win the tournament.

This would be the men's team's first major tournament since 1966 and pubs across the borough will be showing all the England games.
