ANOTHER landmark pub building in St Helens is on the market.
The Horseshoe on Derbyshire Hill Road, Parr, has previously advertised for someone to take on the tenancy.
However, the long-standing pub, which is an imposing building off the Horseshoe Roundabout, is also up for sale.
It is listed for sale with property agent Everard Cole, with an asking price of £525,000.
The listing states that the large, detached pub building could be suitable for “alternative use”.
Next to the pub is a large car park.
The pub building includes a main bar, a public bar, a small kitchen and a games room.
The Horseshoe is the latest pub building to be listing for sale in St Helens, with the Bird I’th Hand, The Ship Inn and St Helens town centre’s Wheatsheaf among those placed up for sale in the past year.
