A MAN charged with dangerous driving on the East Lancashire Road has made a first court appearance.
Phillip Ashton, of Syston Avenue, Blackbrook, went before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 22.
Ashton, 29, is accused of driving a vehicle dangerously on the East Lancs and Slag Lane, Haydock, on July 17 last year.

During the hearing, magistrates sent the case to Liverpool Crown Court.
The defendant was granted unconditional bail and is due to next appear before the higher court on Wednesday, June 19 when he is expected to issue his plea to the charge.
