A ROAD has been shut both ways due to a police incident.
There are reports of accident on Helena Road, Sutton between Station Road and Bold Road.
Emergency services are at the scene, with the road closed both ways late on Friday night.
Shortly after 11pm, Merseyside Police posted on X: “Please avoid the Helena Road area in St Helens as police are in attendance dealing with an RTC and the road is blocked.
“Please find an alternative route.”
