THERE are delays on the M62 following a "multi-vehicle" crash today, Monday.
Traffic is currently being held eastbound following a multi-vehicle crash.
The incident happened between junction 11, Birchwood, and junction 12, Eccles.

Traffic has now been released, but two lanes, of four, remain closed

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service has confirmed that crews attended, although an ambulance was not required.
As of 12.30pm live traffic tracker INRIX stated: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to multi-vehicle accident on M62 Eastbound from J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) to J12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange).
"Lanes three and four (Of four) are closed."
