A WOMAN in her 70s was taken to hospital after a crash this afternoon, Friday.
A closure has been in place on Park Road between Johnson Street and Recreation Street, Fingerpost.
The road has been closed both ways and traffic feeds reported growing traffic in the vicinity this afternoon.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "Just before 4.20pm this afternoon (Friday, April 12) we received a report of a collision on Park Road in St Helens involving a red Hyundai i20 and silver Vauxhall van.
"A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital with injuries that are still being assessed.
"Park Road and Merton Bank was closed off after the incident whilst emergency services remain at the scene."
