One reviewer said: "Me and my partner visit regularly and always get great service good food and good banter with the staff can't beat the split and fish.

Robins Lane Chippy
A popular venue, Robins Lane is described on the Three Best Rated website as "a renowned and traditional fish and chip restaurant celebrated for its exceptional fish and chips".

Tasty Corner, Dentons Green
The Tasty Corner in Greenfield Road scores an average of 4.0 stars out of 41 reviews on TripAdvisor.
One reviewer of the take-out chippy in January said: "Top service and top team thanks for the lovely food best fish I've had in a long time will be calling in here again thank you".

Newton Fish Bar, Earlestown
With an average rating of 4.0 stars from 18 reviews, Newton Fish Bar, on Crown Street, is another popular choice.
According to Trip Advisor it offers takeout and is wheelchair accessible.
One review read: "100% nice fish shop guarantee for anybody to go there for the Excellent fish and chips. Good value for money."
Crispy Cod, Knowsley Road
The Crispy Cod, on Knowsley Road, is one of the best-known chippies in the town.

Marg's Chippy, West Park
Another old regular haunt for Saints fans during the Knowsley Road days, Marg's Chippy, on Balfour Street, is also a well-known establishment in the town.
It has seven 'five-star' ratings out of 15 reviews on TripAdvisor.
One review this month said: "Lightly battered fish lover? Ask for fish without.... Blinding Old traditional chippy. Ohhhh and that fruity curry Top drawer".
