A WOMAN charged with stealing more than £27,000 from an amateur rugby league club has appeared in court.
Jennifer Morrison, of Fosters Road, Haydock, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Friday, February 23.
Morrison, 48, has been charged with theft. The particulars of the offence are that between November 2019 and December 2022, at Haydock Warriors Rugby Club she allegedly stole money to the value of £27,353.45.

Morrison indicated a guilty plea to the charge when she appeared before the magistrates' court.
The case was to Liverpool Crown Court where the 48-year-old will be sentenced by a judge on Friday, March 22.
Morrison was granted unconditional bail until then.
