NEXT month Blues-Rock guitarist Laurence Jones is heading to St Helens where his love of music first started for what he’s calling his hometown show.

The multi-award-winning guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter has announced a Headline ‘Bad Luck & The Blues UK Tour hometown which will visit The Citadel, St Helens on April 12 2024.

The venue holds a special significance to Laurence who went to his first gig there with his dad aged six and from that moment he has never looked back.

However this time he’s returns with his new power trio and a sizzling new album, “Bad Luck & the Blues” out now on Marshall Records that was released in August 2023.

His return comes after him performing in 2022 at The Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens in 2022 as Saints took on Catalans Dragons in the opening round of The Super League.

Music Radar voted the young Laurence one of the world’s top 10 blues-rock guitarists. He’s shared stages with legends like Sir Van Morrison, Sir Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, and Joe Bonamassa.

Lauren also credits living with Crohn’s disease in helping him live each day to the fullest, adding that it shows in his music.
