POLICE have named a man they have charged with offences including intentional strangulation and assault.
Emergency services attended an address in St Helens on the morning of Monday, March 4.
Police have confirmed they have charged a 25-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Kyle Foster, of Hinckley Road, Laffak, has been charged with assault by beating, intentional strangulation and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "Kyle Foster, 25, of Hinckley Road, St Helens, has been charged with assault by beating, intentional strangulation and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis).
"He was remanded into custody to appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today, Wednesday, March 6."
