DETECTIVES have charged a man with murder following an incident in Liverpool earlier this month.
 
At around 5.40pm on Saturday, February 10 officers were called to an address on Midghall Street in Liverpool city centre to reports of a domestic assault.
 
The victim, Brian Cullen, 73, was found with serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Merseyside Police have confirmed that Brian's family is being supported by specialist officers as our investigation continues.
 
Ryan Cullen, 34, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with Murder and Criminal damage.
 
He will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court today, Monday, February 26.
