LOVE is in the air in St Helens!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we asked you to tell us your love stories on the most romantic day of the year.

Dianne and Darren Rance, and Debbie and Kevin Flannery told us about their relationships, engagements and wedding days and Anthony Fanning remembered his wedding day with his late wife Amanda.

Kevin and Debbie had snow on their wedding day and Dianne and Darren met at primary school.

The couples have also given some advice for a 'happily ever after'.

It's not too late to share your love stories this Valentine's Day.

Share a few details and a picture or two using the link at the bottom of the page.

Tell us a bit about your wedding dayOur wedding day was perfect. Considering it was the beginning of March we half expected bad weather or even snow but the sun was out all day. All our amazing family and friends joined in our celebrations. Looking back we are so grateful that we decided to get married earlier in the year as unfortunately later that year we sadly lost Neil’s mother June. It made us happy knowing she at least got to see her youngest son get married.

When and where did you get married?St Helens Register Office on December 18, 2010

Tell us a bit about your wedding dayThe night before we got married there was a small blizzard and we hadn't booked cars as we wanted to keep costs low. My uncle drove me and my husband to be to the register office while my brother and photographer began to walk - they managed to catch a bus on the way! After the ceremony, we had a Chinese buffet back at our home on Springfield Road and had a snow ball fight before enjoying a great night out in town. Our honeymoon was spent in Liverpool, which holds great childhood memories for us both. Our wedding was a most magical day and it cost less than £1,000. We have been together now for 21 years and have two amazing children.

What's the secret to a successful love story?Always make time for each other but also make time for yourselves. Compromise, forgive and let go of the pretentions. Live in the moment.
