A CYCLIST suffered serious hand and wrist injuries after colliding with another bike. 

The collision, between two bikes, happened on Clipsley Lane, Haydock, at around 5.30pm last Thursday, January 25.

Police are seeking to speak to the other cyclist, or the driver or any passengers of a nearby bus who may have information to assist officers.

At around 5.30pm, it was reported that a cyclist aged in his 30s had been involved in the collision on Clipsley Lane with another cyclist and sustained serious hand and wrist injuries.

Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Police say inquiries are ongoing to locate the other cyclist involved, and also the driver and any passengers of a passing bus as they could also have information that would assist.

Police are also appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision to come forward.
