PASSENGERS are being reminded of bus service changes due to be made by Arriva across Merseyside and the North West from Monday, January 21, 2024.
The transport giant says there will be changes to some routes and timetables, with some services "enhanced to meet new levels of demand but also some reductions where demand has fallen and some general timetable changes".
Arriva adds there are also changes to some routes "due to the levels of congestion we are experiencing in Liverpool City Centre".
The full list of service changes affecting St Helens is as follows:
Frequencies increased
Service 10, St Helens to Liverpool Queen Square
Monday to Friday frequency increased to every 15 minutes
Service 329, Warrington to St Helens
Monday to Saturday frequency increased to every 30 minutes
Frequencies decreased
The number of people using these bus services has reduced, says Arriva which adds that the frequency reductions will be in line with the demand that Arriva is experiencing. The company will aim to deliver the long-term sustainability of the service:
Service 17, Widnes to St Helens
Revised times
Some timetables have been revised to improve "reliability and respond to customers’ feedback". There is no change to frequency or route:
10A – St Helens – Liverpool One - Monday to Sunday
352 – St Helens – Wigan - Monday to Sunday
See the Arriva website for the timetable changes
