IT’S the New Year! And to start it off with a bang we have listed the acts coming to St Helens Theatre Royal this January.

The Christmas Pantomime Aladdin runs until January 13 – so there is still a chance to watch this popular show.

After that the first show is one by nationally famous medium Psychic Sally for one night only on January 17.

Then Bye Bye Baby 2024 on January 19 – which is a jaw-dropping tribute to the musical phenomenon ‘Jersey Boys’ and the timeless, iconic music of ‘Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons’, including hits like Sherry, December ’63 (Oh What A Night), Grease, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Beggin’, Working My Way Back To You, and many more.

Next up on January 21 is The King's Voice - Elvis Tribute as Gordon Hendricks performing as the ‘King’

Next is STRANGER THINGS - THE MUSICAL from January 23 to January 24.

The parody musical is straight from off-Broadway, and a UK premiere 3-month sell-out run in London.

Take a trip with your favourite gang on a night of indulgent pop culture references, heavy synth, poor parenting, dancing demogorgons and maybe - just maybe - you might find justice for Barb along the way.

So, hop(per) on your bike and grab your transmitter radio (don’t forget your inhaler); because saving your friends is the answer to this never ending story.

Next up on January 25 is The Makings of a Murderer.

The show investigates the UK’s most notorious serial killers and is hosted by Detective David Swindell – the detective who brought Peter Tobin to justice.

Learn about the biggest British serial killers of all time - including Jack the Ripper, Peter Tobin, Harold Shipman, Peter Sutcliffe and ‘Killer Couples’ – Fred and Rose West and The Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.

Rounding off the month are two diva sensations each taking on an icon for one night only.

On January 26, Justine Riddoch will transform into Tina Turner, celebrating the star’s life work and performing her popular hits including River Deep Mountain High, Nutbush City Limits and of course Simply The Best.

Lastly is one for all the Swifties. Taylormania is on for one night only on January 31 performed by KatyEllis alongside a live band and dancers.

The show will include performances of Taylor’s much loved hits including; Shake It Off, Blank Space, Love Story, You Belong With Me, Look What You Made Me Do, I Knew You Were Trouble and many, many more.
