POLICE have seized two stolen motorbikes from an estate within 48 hours.

Officers say they located the vehicles on the Four Acre estate in Clock Face over the past couple of days.

The bikes have since been returned to their owners and police are appealing for any information over the thefts.

Officers say they are conducting CCTV inquiries.

In a statement today, Friday, November 24, police said: "They say lightning doesn't strike twice, well sometimes it does.

"Over the last two days Team 3 officers have located and returned two stolen motorcycles to their rightful owners.

"The first one was located after a GPS tracker sent us on a treasure hunt into the Four Acre estate in Clock Face.

"The second one was also located on the Four Acre estate with some assistance from the public."

They added: "If you have any information that could assist us in bringing the offenders to justice then please contact us on 101 or contact us via our website or social media.

"CCTV inquiries are ongoing for both incidents."
