UNIQUE mini-trampoline fitness sessions have had such a great response that the team are expanding to a second location.

Falling in love with the high-tempo fitness classes, Liz Smith launched the first ((BOUNCE)) sessions at De La Salle school at the start of the year.

Described as “fitness sessions that feel like a night out”, the classes are extremely in the south but there are only a handful of providers up north.

As Liz’ sessions are one of the few places for local people to try them out, they have become so popular that she is now expanding the classes to Prescot.

Liz, a public sector worker from St Helens, said: “The classes have exploded with attendees since we launched in January.

”We’ve had such positive feedback, not just about the physical health benefits, but the social, mental health and body image benefits.

”There’s people who didn’t know each other at the start, and now they’re really good friends, so I’m really proud of that.”

With ((BOUNCE)) sessions booking up for weeks in advance in St Helens, Liz is now in the process of training her fourth instructor to help her meet the demand.

The growing team have also expanded their sessions they offer, with a more relaxed ‘Balance’ yoga and Pilates sessions, as well as a ‘Bounce Box’ boxersize classes.

With the new ((BOUNCE)) sessions at Byre Road community centre already booking up in Prescot, Liz advised residents to book now to experience the classes and avoid missing out.

Pleased with the “phenomenal” response that the classes have had, Liz has even further plans to grow the sessions to other areas around St Helens after the Prescot move.

She added: “The sessions are so popular down south, but relatively unknown in the north.

”They’re such good fun and such a good social thing to do after Covid, so I knew people would love it.

”The plan now is to keep expanding our reaching more people and more venues.”
