FINISHING touches have been applied to the newest addition of Church Square shopping centre this week.
As reported yesterday, a spokesperson at TJ Hughes confirmed that its new St Helens shop will open from Thursday, November 23.
The department store's brand new shop will be open from 9am tomorrow, in the unit formerly occupied by Poundland.

TJs is the latest business that has made the switch from the Hardshaw Centre over the past year, as the shopping centre will soon be demolished to make way for St Helens Council's regeneration plans.
The department store will join the likes of Select, Bonmarche, and Shoezone, which have moved into new units around Church Square and benefitted from increased footfall and having more prominent shop fronts.
As TJs has been one of the last to leave the Hardshaw Centre, many shoppers are relieved that it is staying in the town centre and not moving to a retail park or leaving town for good.

A TJ Hughes spokesperson said that all the usual brands will be on offer in the new store, and that "great discounts" will be on offer in the lead up to Black Friday and Christmas.
Black Friday offers and vouchers will also be available to spend in store for the first customers through the Church Square doors.
