A 60-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in St Helens.
Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit posted on social media that they spotted an individual driving a white Vauxhall van erratically around the borough this afternoon (Monday, November 20).
Traffic officers followed the vehicle and pulled it over on Travers Entry in Bold.
The driver of the van, a 60-year-old man from Newton-le-Willows, was then tested for drugs at the roadside.
After a positive response to the drug test, the driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

Confirming the details, a Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Roads Policing patrols spotted a white van driving erratically along Travers Entry, Bold, St Helens today, Monday, November 20.
