MORE than 100 young witches and wizards got the call from Hogwarts to attend a Harry Potter Book Day event in St Helens Library last week.
At the event - organised by St Helens Library Service in partnership with the World of Glass Museum - children were treated to a number of spellbinding activities and attractions.
These included arts and crafts and potion making.
There was also a menagerie of animals - including owls, snakes, spiders and frogs, courtesy of Animals Takeover.
The library is located within the World of Glass.
