THE M57 and Warrington Road were among locations police made arrests in connection with drink and drug driving on Thursday.
Officers said they made a series of arrests on roads in Knowsley of suspected drink and drug drivers.
Police called on anyone with information about illegal driving to contct them.

In a statement, police in Knowsley said: "The M57, Wilson Road, Warrington Road, Huyton Lane and Leathers Lane were the location of the drink and drug driving arrests yesterday in Knowsley.
"The number of people killed or seriously injured on Knowsley's roads has fallen this year. Help Merseyside Road Safety Partnership keep it that way.
