WHAT better way to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary than a meal out with family and friends?

A delicious three course meal cooked by a talented team of chefs that you can enjoy in beautiful surroundings.

We’re spoilt for choice in St Helens when it comes to fabulous restaurants but which is the town’s premier eatery?

Which is your favourite restaurant? Which restaurant in the town can you enjoy the best meal?

In the final instalment of our Best of 2023 competition, restaurants will be taking centre stage and we want to know which establishment should make our shortlist.

We’ve already given out 21 awards so far in St Helens for hair, nails and beauty, tattoos and independent shops, as well as pizza, dessert and cocktails and many more.

Voting is currently taking place to find St Helens’ Best Pub or Bar, with the vote closing at midnight on Monday, September 18.

This week it’s restaurants.

Who will win St Helens’ Best Restaurant 2023?

Tell us which of the town’s restaurants should make our shortlist and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.

Which is your favourite restaurant?

HOW IT WORKS:

Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations will then close each Monday morning at 12pm.

Every Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.

You will be able to vote in one of three ways:

- By commenting under the relevant post on our St Helens Star Facebook or Twitter pages = 1 vote

- By entering via the online article on our St Helens Star website = 2 votes

- By entering via our St Helens Star newspaper = 5 votes

The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.

Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.

For more details go to newsquest.co.uk/terms-conditions

So, get in touch with your restaurant nominations and tell us who is amazing enough to be one of our finalists.

To make your nomination go to facebook.com/sthelensstar or find us on Twitter @sthelensnews

Alternatively, you can email your nomination, telling us the name of the restaurant, where they’re based and why they deserve to be shortlisted, to heidi.summerfield@newsquest.co.uk

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our website and our social media on Thursday to vote for your favourite from our shortlist.
