A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car on a main road in St Helens.
Police confirmed the rider, a man in his 20s, had suffered a leg injury as a result of the incident on Prescot Road involving a Nissan Duke car.
A heavy police presence was called to the area, with the crash taking place near the Bird I'th Hand pub.
