SAINTS are searching for a new groundsperson at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

The club is seeking to appoint a groundsman, with an advert for the vacancy online.

The role will involve being responsible for delivery of grounds maintenance.

It will also include responsibility for allocated ground maintenance tasks from start to completion, including scoping the task, undertaking the work personally or coordinating and supervising others.

The role would also involve ensuring day-to-day operation for the delivery of grounds services at the stadium pitch and training ground sites, is to “the highest standard”.

The club says the successful candidate should have “good time management and technical skills and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as using your initiative to work unsupervised on a variety of tasks”.

It adds they “will take pride in your work and be driven by a determination to contribute to our Super League standard pitch”.

The advert says that day to day the role will be “involved in preparations for some of the biggest national and international rugby league events as well as having a key role in ensuring the community pitch and training ground is delivered to meet business objectives”.

It adds events take place all year round, and at different times and days, so the groundsperson will be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends to fulfil needs. The job is a full-time permanent position.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday, August 9.
