A COFFEE and tea house in Prescot is celebrating turning seven with a 'summer bash' this weekend.

Station Coffee House on Bridge Road is inviting its customers to join in on the celebration to mark its seven-year anniversary.

The family-run business will host a 'smoke and fire' afternoon with BBQ food cooked on its open wood fire barbeque.

The outside decking has also had a refresh with even more flowers planted.

Nicky Shore, co-owner, and director of Station Coffee House alongside her husband Carl, said: "Our belated 7th Birthday BBQ this Saturday is to celebrate with all our regular and new customers with our specially built fire cage BBQ which we purchased pre-covid.

"We use this a lot on our pop-up super clubs which we host every fortnight.

"Like all small businesses, the industry is still suffering because of utility and food costs spiraling.

"We thrive on our amazing customers' support which without we probably wouldn’t have survived for so long."

The coffee house owner also announced that as the weather is improving, opening times will be extended into the evening for alfresco dining with small plates/tapas and charcuterie boards.

The Station Coffee House 'belated birthday bash' will take place on Saturday, May 27, from 12pm until 5pm.
