BUSINESSES in Newton-le-Willows are preparing for their annual May event.
The High Street Hive, a committee of businesses on Newton High Street, is holding an event next weekend, which will follow its recent coronation celebration earlier this month.
The bank holiday weekend event will see market stalls set up outside businesses along the high street, serving food, drinks, and crafts.
Live music will also be performed on the high street, as well as opportunities to visit local businesses.
The May Markets is one of several events the High Street Hive organises throughout the year, with the Hive’s previous events this year, including the coronation celebration and the Easter Egg Trail, a success for the businesses.
The High Street Hive’s May Markets will take place on Newton High Street on Saturday, May 27, from 12pm-6pm.
