A BUSINESS in Newton-le-Willows is looking to ‘hire local talent’ as new opportunities have become available.
Jack Lynch set up his recruitment business, Cavehill Consulting, in October 2021 at home.
The business soon took off, with Jack finding himself needing an office space as the business was growing.
An opportunity appeared for him to join other Newton businesses as Cavehill Consulting moved into its current premises on Mercer Street near Newton High Street.
With the business expanding, Jack hopes to widen its network by offering international opportunities and apprenticeships for local people.
The business owner stressed how important hiring local was to him and hopes his recent sign-up to a St Helens Chambers apprenticeship programme will attract “local talent” to join his team.
He said: "I decided to set up Cavehill Consulting with the view that there’s a lot of good talent around Newton-le-Willows and excellent examples of businesses that have developed in the area.
"I thought why not have something closer to home and recruit around here as there’s a lot of talent; the goal is to take people from no recruitment experience in local areas and then develop them into established recruiters.
"My view is to have 50 employees in the next five years and for people who want to come and join us, and we also want to grow internationally.
"We’re a business that’s keen to give back where we can by helping developing people with limited opportunities."
The 39-year-old detailed how no recruitment experience is needed as training will be provided, with potential opportunities to work internationally at locations such as New York.
The business has also recently purchased another company, Conduct and Prudential.
