NETWORK interruptions have affected GP practices in St Helens today - although the issue has now been resolved, the local NHS says.
Patients received messages from GP practices in St Helens saying that all practices in the area "had been experiencing issues" with accessing medical notes due to "an IT outage" today, Tuesday, April 25.
It was said delays may incur in "responding to online enquiries, including prescriptions".

When asked about the issue by the Star, a spokesman for St Helens Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said the matter has since been resolved
He said: "Following network interruptions experienced earlier (April 25) affecting GP practices in St Helens, this issue has now been resolved.
"Apologies for any disruption this may have caused."
