POLICE have arrested a 17-year-old on suspicion of causing the death of a man by dangerous driving in connection with an alleged 'hit-and-run' in Netherton.
At around 9pm it was reported that a black Audi S8 car had collided with a man and then crashed into a house on Morgan Mews, Netherton.
The driver of the car is alleged to have then made off on foot.

Paramedics attended where the man now known as 63-year-old David Francis from Litherland was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the Audi S8 was stolen in a burglary from Harrison Drive in Rainford in the early hours of April 13.
Merseyside Police have confirmed that a 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving.
