A GIRL with dreams of becoming a fashion designer has had "amazing" feedback after setting up her first ever stall at her primary school.

Priya Keane, from Sutton, started having sewing lessons around a year ago after telling her mum she wanted to be a fashion designer.

For the past year, Priya has been learning the tricks of the trade and has even set up her own business online to sell her handmade items.

Under the business name 'PRK Stiching', the 10-year-old has been sewing and selling hair scrunchies, phone holders, bags, t-shirts, cushions, and much more.

With plans to set up her first stall at a family fun day in Warrington in May, Priya's teachers at St Anne's Primary School caught wind of her project and asked her to set up a stall at the school's Easter Parade.

Taking place on Wednesday, March 15, Priya's mum Patricia said that she was swept off her feet as she sold her items to teachers, parents, and pupils.

Proud mum Patricia said: "It was amazing to see Priya at her first ever stall at the school and everyone seemed to love what she had made.

"She was the only one selling handmade items and she did so well in managing everything - she even came prepared with a card reader for those who didn't have cash!

"She amazes me with all that she does and the stall has given her a lot of confidence for when she takes it to the family fun day in Warrington."

With a keen eye for fashion, Priya has also shown her compassionate side with her PRK business as she donated to Comic Relief and Children In Need with some of her earnings.

Striving to become a fashion designer, Priya hopes to continue crafting her own products, selling them to more customers and setting up more stalls.
