TWO occupants of a car involved in a crash have been taken to hospital after a crash in Prescot this afternoon.
The collision, on Manchester Road, Prescot, involved a Volkswagen T-Roc and a Hyundai IONIQ, and was reported just after 2.25pm today, March 10.
It is understood the accident happened, close to junction with Steley Way.
Traffic is said to now be coping well in the area.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "A report came in at just after 2.25pm.
"Two occupants of the Hyundai have gone to Whiston Hospital as a precaution.
"There is a road closure between the roundabouts at McDonald's and (Cables) retail park."
