A COMPETITION has been launched by St Helens Book Stop for children to design a tote bag with the character from their favourite book – with the winning design being sold at the store.
The popular shop on Bridge Street is hosting a competition asking for school aged children in St Helens to submit artwork of their favourite character from a book that could feature on a tote bag.
The winner will win a tote bag with their design on it – which will then be printed by Buzzhub and sold in St Helens Book Stop.
The competition, which has been launched to tie in with St Helens taking over the mantle of Borough of Culture, will be in place until April 29.
Caitlin Lowe, from St Helens Book Stop, said: “It’s really exciting to offer this competition to children in St Helens, the tote bag design that wins will be available to buy in the store and the winner will obviously win one themselves too.”
