TV star Jude Riordan was all smiles as he posed with Michelle Keegan to mark the end of filming series five of Brassic.

The young actor from St Helens is best known for playing Sam Blakeman in ITV soap Coronation Street.

But he has another TV screen role that runs alongside his appearance in Corrie.

Jude, 11, plays Tyler Croft in Brassic, the son of Michelle's character, Erin.

Jude and Michelle, whose breakthrough in TV came as Tina in Coronation Street, have worked together on the hit Sky comedy since the first season four years ago.

Crews started filming for the fifth series of the BAFTA-nominated Sky comedy last year.

Jude, who juggles his TV commitments with school, took to Instagram to say it has been a tough week of year 7 assessments and shared support with other students.

He also revealed pictures from his last day on Brassic series five, showing him alongside Michelle and co-star Oliver Jones.

He wrote: "These are pics from my last day on Brassic 5 from the other week 🎬 Had a really great last day, love it when there's other kids on set."

Jude has already enjoyed rich success in his short career, winning Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards in 2021 and the Pride of St Helens Arts Awards in the same year.
