A MAN from Newton-le-Willows has been charged as part of a police operation into 'County Lines' drug dealing.
Police have charged John Sonaike, of Belvedere Road, who had been arrested on Tuesday, January 17.
He has been charged with being concerned in the supply and intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis), concerned in the supply of cocaine and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
The arrest was made as part of Operation Toxic, which Merseyside Police's initiative to infiltrate County Lines drug dealing.

Sonaike, 20, appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court earlier today (Wednesday, January 18) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, February 15.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Officers will continue to target suspected criminals through Operation Toxic, which is Merseyside Police's initiative to infiltrate County Lines drug dealings.
"Anyone who has information about drug dealing in the community, where weapons are being stored or who is using them can contact us by sending a DM to @MerPolCC, calling 101 or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
