TWO boys who were on a bike which was in a collision with a car were taken to hospital.
A Skoda car and a pedal bike were involved in the collision at the junction of Warrington Road and Longton Lane in Rainhill.
The incident happened at around 4pm on Monday, December 19.
Two boys who were on the bike were taken to hospital to be checked over, a police spokeswoman said.
The driver of the Skoda stopped at the scene, she added.

The Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 3.55pm to reports of collision involving two teenage boys on a pedal bicycle and a Skoda car on Warrington Road/Longton Lane in Rainhill.
"Both were taken to hospital to be checked over.
"The driver of the car stopped at the scene."
