A DAD has kept his promise to his daughters of creating a Christmas lights show at home.

Ste Beesley from Sutton has built a festive display outside his house where he conducts a nightly lights show.

The display sees a Christmas tree filled with lights in sync with the music throughout the 30-minute show.

Ste had started the project last Christmas, however, this year the display has been completed.

The festive display came to life following a wholesome promise to his daughters Anna and Sofia, which the 41-year-old fulfilled.

The dad-of-two said: "It all started when I showed my daughters a video clip of someone in America who had something similar and they were amazed by the tree and how everything synced together, so I made them a promise that we would do something similar.

"The children got involved in it where they could and when we switched it on for the first time, they were absolutely amazed by it all.

"The goal was to build it for them but whilst we were building it, there were people walking past and saying it looked amazing, so I said we should try to get the neighbours involved and get a community gathering to spread a bit of Christmas cheer to everyone."

After a sweat-breaking 12 months, the display was completed and has been conducting a festive show for both locals and those from nearby areas to watch.

The show debuted last week and has already had a positive response from the community.

The display includes Christmas classics including Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You and music from The Polar Express, with The Greatest Showman hit The Greatest Show also featured in the production.

The production manager added: "It’s been really well received so far. It’s blown people’s minds because they’ve not seen anything like it; there’s plenty of questions that get asked and it’s been lovely to see the reaction on people’s faces."

Ste hopes to develop the display next year and raise money towards a charity.

The show takes place every night between 6-6:30pm and 7-7:30pm.

The house is located at 263 Walkers Lane, Sutton Manor, Saint Helens WA9 4AD.
