A FESTIVE favourite took place over the weekend as St Helens and Earlestown had their annual Christmas lights switch on.
The Christmas events saw crowds of festive locals attend to spectate the switch on, with pictures to capture magical moments.
St Helens Christmas lights switch on took place on Saturday, November 26, at Church Square, with live performances from local talent and fundfair rides also at the event.
Earlestown's Market Square was filled with locals on Sunday, November 27, as it had its Christmas lights switch on.

Sutton singer-songwriter Jack Bennett performed at both shows, with viral singer and mum, Kerrie Ann Lomas, returning to the stage for the festive event.
